Casa Gorna
Warm, welcoming and carefully tended to in every detail, this little house is perfectly suited for romantic and nature-focused stays. The estate allows visitors to witness the olive harvest (usually in November/December). A nearby farm offers the chance to watch the milking of cows, sheep and goats, and the transformation of milk into Nebrodi ricotta and provola cheeses.
In the grounds near Casa Gorna, guests will find dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, turkeys, sheep, cows and horses.
The property extends over several hectares, cultivated using certified organic practices, characterised by centuries-old olive trees yielding an extra virgin olive oil with an intense, citrusy and delicate flavour.
The location is approximately 3 km from Castell'Umberto, a hilltop village known as the little "Switzerland of the Nebrodi".
